How to Create password protected Web pages for your Web site
Creating password protected Web pages is very straight forward. First, FTP to your Web directory. Create a Subdirectory. Move the Web pages you wish to password protect into this new directory. Send email to staff@spiderlink.com letting us know the name of the subdirectory you created and that you wish it to be password protected. That's it! When you connect to any Web page in this directory using a Web browser, you will be required to enter your FTP user id and password.
Include the number of user id's you require for this directory in your email. You will receive confirmation that your
directory has been secured as well as a list of Assigned user id's and passwords. There is currently a limit of 5 user ID's
per/domain name. We are planning to lift this restriction soon.
